Zirenz bring you their latest single “Didos Lament” which is released via Afterworld Recordings. “Didos Lament” is the 4th single from Zirenz new Classical Crossover project named, “pOpera”. Zirenz have created a fresh take on the popular Aria “Didos Lament” from Henry Purcell opera named Dido and Aeneas. The pOpera crossover vocal from Zirenz merges together with electronic glitch pop beats , trance dance rolling synth basses, Electronic Clavichord continuo and orchestrated strings presenting a fresh 21st century sound. Zirenz took great inspiration for their vocals from the acclaimed Opera singer English mezzo-soprano Janet Baker who is said to have made one of the definitive performance of this Aria they wanted to create a pure and united sound working together to blend their voices seamlessly.
